Oakland American School offers an American education based on HMH curricula, focusing on critical thinking, academic English proficiency, and university readiness.

We also provide an Arabic support program for students who are still developing English proficiency.

This program helps students continue learning, understand core subjects in Arabic, and gradually transition to the American curriculum.

The Arabic support program uses content partially based on the Syrian curriculum for academic support purposes only.

The school is not a Syrian school and is not affiliated with the Syrian Ministry of Education. All diplomas and records are issued under the American education system.

American Curriculum (HMH – Houghton Mifflin Harcourt)

Our primary academic program is the American curriculum based on HMH resources. This curriculum is widely recognized for its academic rigor and focus on developing critical thinking, strong academic English proficiency, university readiness, and the use of modern digital learning tools.

Arabic Support Program for Non-Native English Speakers

To assist students who are still developing their English language skills, we offer an Arabic-language support program. This program enables students to continue their education without interruption, understand core subjects in their native language, and gradually transition to the American curriculum with confidence.
