Oakland American School welcomes students from diverse educational backgrounds and believes that education is a lifelong opportunity, regardless of age.

The school follows a flexible admission policy focused on academic readiness and commitment, without discrimination based on age, nationality, or country of residence.

Academic Tracks

1. Traditional Track

Designed for students within the standard K–12 age range, following the American curriculum and standard graduation requirements.

2. Adult / Non-Traditional High School Track

Designed for students aged 22 and above, returning learners, or students who have experienced interruptions in their education.

  • Flexible academic plan tailored to the student’s age and background.
  • Initial academic assessment to determine required coursework.
  • Opportunities for accelerated learning when applicable.
  • Same American curriculum and academic standards.
  • Eligibility to earn an official American High School Diploma and transcript.

Diploma & Certification

All diplomas and transcripts are officially issued under Oakland American School, in accordance with private school regulations in the State of California, USA.
